Ka MoʻolelO
Our Story
The ʻŌlelo Group was created out of a simple belief: ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi deserves to be done right.
Too often, Hawaiian language is treated as a decorative afterthought — rushed, mistranslated, or stripped of cultural meaning. We’re here to change that.
With deep roots in education, public history, translation, and curriculum development, our work centers Hawaiian language as a living, breathing part of our future. Every project we take on — from signage and digital media to historical research and curriculum development — is approached with professionalism, cultural responsibility, and excellence.
We believe ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi is not just a language — it's a legacy. And we are committed to honoring that legacy through every line of text we translate, every name we research, and every word we help bring to life.
